First, start by identifying the slot or seam on your key fob where it opens. You may have to remove the key to find this. Use a small screwdriver or coin to gently pry it open (you wouldn't want to break a fingernail).  

Next, carefully remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, making sure it's in the correct position.  

Then, close the key fob by aligning the two halves and pressing firmly until they click into place.
